Is Portsmouth vs Arsenal on TV? FA Cup third round live stream and how to listen on radio

Arsenal face Portsmouth in a classic FA Cup mismatch as John Mousinho's side go in the hunt for a giant-killing at Fratton Park

It's a meeting of David versus Goliath in the FA Cup this weekend as Premier League leaders Arsenal travel to Fratton Park to face Championship strugglers Portsmouth. Pompey are 21st in the Championship and have won only six out of 24 games this term.

The Gunners, contrastingly, are unbeaten in their last four league games and on track to win the Premier League for the first time in two decades. Arsenal hold the record for the most FA Cup wins in the history of the competition with a stunning 14.

Crystal Palace are the current holders of the FA Cup, having beaten Manchester City in 2025, but Arsenal will be hoping to win it this year and establish themselves as a genuine dominant force for years to come.

For Arsenal, the game comes shortly after their Premier League clash with Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium, so it's expected that Mikel Arteta will switch up his starting 11 for this encounter.

Portsmouth have struggled this season, and their injury situation isn't making things any easier for boss John Mousinho. However, they'll have more time to prepare than Arsenal, with the south coast side having a 10-day playing gap. Their last match against Ipswich Town was cancelled due to frost.

The clash comes in the middle of the January transfer window - a chaotic time for any team. Due to their mounting injury list, Portsmouth will need to dip into the market, and while the Arsenal squad seems settled, there's no reason why Arteta wouldn't like to add more depth.

Speaking to Sky Sports about the challenges of new players integrating into his system, Arteta said: "It's like shaping a pencil. It's something you have to tweak constantly."

The clash against Portsmouth will allow Arteta to try new things and "shape the pencil" of this superb Arsenal outfit. Here's everything you need to know about the match this weekend.
